Know The Sun isnt renown for being the most reliable source so may take it with a pinch of salt...
They have written today that Cronulla are desperate to sign our wing sensation and are willing to offer cash to get him now instead of waiting.
Would be gutted to see him go if true, but couldnt blame him if he decided to leave to try his luck down under...although main problem for the club is who is available that we could replace him with if he does leave?

| It would seem unlikely given that he was hesitant to go full time until finishing his training. But I suppose it depends how much cash they throw at him.
What is his contract like, thought it had run out?

| Better get used to this. No young player is going to sign a deal these days without checking the NRL market first.
I'd be surprised if they wanted Swift to be honest, there must be kids in their system who warrant a shot. I;m not criticising him, he's clearly a decent player, but he's not an outlandish talent, it's not like he's a Billy Slater, Greg Inglis or even Sam Tomkins. If they are interested, at least it's not one of the more ambitious Super League sides we're losing him to.
Maybe this could explain the Dawson signing?

It's nice to see that you have up graded you opinion of him to decent, even if he has not played since your last assessment of his qualities.
Maybe this NRL rumour has caused a re-think
Quote Saddened!="Saddened!"He also didn't actually do very much. Any winger can fall over the line to score provided they can catch a ball. The fact that he scored so many wasn't that remarkable. I still don't think he's a winger either, just doesn't look natural for him there.'"

I don't see your point. I've never said he's terrible, he's always clearly been a solid player. My point is that he's not in SLs top 5 wingers, so why would an NRL side want him?

| It's quite difficult to suggest anything from his stats given he has played 12 games, but his strike rate is excellent.
His average gain is well above average, he is very low on both penalty count and missed tackles.
Slightly high on the errors.
But I would suggest that if the NRL are sniffing about he's a bit better than average.

I really doubt they are.
Adam could be very good, excellent even, but he's unproven. A full season with similar stats to his few games this year could have them calling, but then i think his strike rate would have him even surpass Charnley's new try scoring record
Just the Sun making up stories again for me

Potential is the reason a NRL team would be interested in Adam and he's got bags of it.
This is a lad that has burst on the scene scoring tries for fun and he's still not full time pro. It's not just his try scoring tho, he's dangerous with the all, good in defence, good on kicks ( he's still new to the wing), he's brave and he's a good hard worker.
IMO that's why NRL club maybe in for him.
