Why would the club allow this to be broadcast? It sounds as if it's a bit of classic RU propaganda, that they have no doubt suggested to Granada Reports and paid for.
Whilst what he says is unquestionably true, he really shouldn't be sounding off about his decision until he's left the club. He should IMO keep very quiet and not comment on anything.

Well, I'm not gutted he's leaving rugby league! I'm gutted that we are struggling with our halfbacks.
Amazing how he gets a spot on Granada reports when he's leaving for union. If only rugby league players - as opposed to those leaving for union - could have as much airtime given to them as he did tonight.
Man but he's a bighead!
What I would so love now would be for our England team to beat the Aussies and the Kiwis and for rugby league to take off as we couldn't imagine it doing now, and he never get a spot in the England union side! But that's obviously just me getting in touch with my petty inner child. |
