Of course he is. Wellens is safe, but offers nothing in attack. The world has moved on from picking the guy who can catch best as your fullback.
All the world's best fullbacks make mistakes, Billy Slater, Sam Tomkins included. It's a primarily attacking position and we're losing out. Hopefully Brown can see this and although I doubt this is true (he's under contract with Huddersfield until 2014 and we're not going to be paying transfer fees) it would be a positive step into the future. |
