And Lomax isn't fit enough do we go with Moore, Wilkin or Roby in the halves?



A huge decision for Potter to make. I'd personally go with Moore at 7 I think. Decent kicking game and puts his shoulder in. Gives us essentially 7 forwards on the field for the opening skirmishes. I'm not sure we can afford to go with lomax who has had 3 weeks without rugby and I don't want Wilkin moving out of the forwards.

Smith at 7, Wilkin at 6 for me. Wilkin was better overall last night and while he's no halfback, he's used to playing at 6 now and we desperately need to be settled for next week. Potter changed too many people around last night just to facilitate a crocked Kyle (hope he is better and wowing us again next season) and to do that again for a Grand Final would be suicide.

Roby and Smith for me. Roby to just run and run, Smith to organise and handle the kicking. Scotty Moore on the bench.

Kyle should not be seen until Fenruary ( or a pre season freindly ), end of !

No point in playing Kyle.



He will just no doubt get injured again at some point, and in a Grand Final especially, you cannot waste a jersey.

Thats what i'd have picked last night and would pick next week. We could use roby as a extra forward and leave smith to run the team as he did when wilkin was at 6 against the wolves.



Wilkin is not a stand off in a million years but it worked against wolves as wilkin played as a forward leaving smith to do his thing.



Kyle and smith was a mistake in the halfs, both took a backseat and looked as tho they didn't wan't to step on each others toes.

Playing both kyle and lomax in any team together looks a risk as none of them ever complete the game.

Kyle needs to recover and kick on next year.



Id go with Smith and Roby.
