Heard he is coming to Saints immediately. Roosters are over the salary cap and we need cover for Lomax. I heard he's had another operation not sure of the outcome.

The only way this would happen is if Lomax was forced to retire - and if that happened, we'd need the freed up cap space for a fullback so it doesn't seem likely to me ...

Is SKD that good? I've been trying to look into the rumours on the Aussie forums. Their rumours do include him being touted around Super League clubs, but most seem to deduce Wigan as the destination. Some have even suggested a swap happening now between SKD and Joe Burgess. Most however seem to be point to him being given a new deal as one of their owners wants him to be a one club man.



He isn't popular at all amongst the Sydney fans, some refer to him as 'Shaun Kenny-Downsyndrome' and all suggest they wouldn't keep him or play him in the 17.

I'm not entirely sure how the de-registering process works, as the only actual evidence I have that it is in fact possible to do so has come from the hull boards - there is no actual mention in any SC rule about being able to de register a player. However you go around it, he will be in the top 25 earners who has played for the club this year - only retirement takes him out of the equation as far as the operational rules are concerned.



SKD would do very well in SL, he has the size to run over most backs here, and the pace to go around most of them too. He's a much better centre than winger, where he's quite error prone. I'd certainly have him.

And people who find this funny are reliable indicators of quality in what way ... ?

As a Roosters member who regularly attends games, I can tell you for a fact that is a load of crap.



Its widely expected he will leave at the end of this year, but if he does, it will more than likely be to another NRL team. He's far too good to leave the NRL and I would be amazed if any Super League Club could even afford him. Plenty of NRL teams who could do with a centre like him.

I'd love us to sign him, mostly as our friends from over t'lump would start all sorts of conspiracy theories about us dodging the salary cap, underhand payments etc
