Yes its a lot of honours,but when you were the ONLY full time club playing against part timers it does somewhat take the sheen off things,you almost went under due to paying to much for players and you lost your ground and now have to share with the football so in reflection was it all worth it ? |

 Oh well done. I wish we were playing part timers every week. If you take out the Wigan full time pro team (even before it was official for the entire squad they were operating with the vast majority as Full timers) against part timers your little trophy list is still impressive but no longer exceptional |

Leeds where full time before Wigan. Saints were breaking world records in transfer fees even though they were 'part time'

Wigan were not the ONLY full time club. Wigan gave their players full time contracts to try and keep up with Leeds as they were full time before Wigan. Pity other clubs were more interested in spending world record transfer fees instead giving out more full time contracts. |
