I would be astounded if we signed Hayne, astounded and delighted of course! He'd easily be worth £300k+ in Oz, can any SL team afford that for him?

I wouldn't mind him for 2-3 years, he's only 23 and allegedly out of the Green and Golds current reckoning let him tear it up for a bit in the new stadium and earn a great deal when the huge cap comes in over there!

I think decent signing. His age as many have already voiced is a concern, as is the decade he's spent playing in the toughest competition in the world in one of the toughest positions. Plus with your current status as a club who for the past few seasons has struggled with keeping players fit. I wouldn't bet against him joining the casualty list next year. But when fit and playing I think he'll go ok.



Who is he a replacement for? Graham, Puletua or Flannery? Because if it's either of the first two. Then it's very underwhelming signing IMO. If it's Flannery then great.

He's much better than Hoffman, and you know it.

and as for getting injured, if he plays for saints he will be injured at least 50% of the time, i think its in our contracts now!



p.s. playing a decade and change in the NRL didnt do Menzies any harm

I think most would agree Menzies is an anomaly. The fact that he's able to in the performances that he does is freakish.



How many more signings for the Saints pack are expected?

That is highly likely to revolve around what happens with TP, I'd say possibly 1 if he stays and 2 if he does leave

Hopefully Farrel will get even better from an England perspective!





At least 1 front rower depending on the TP situation, that might be 2. Personally and this might not be popular, i think LMS is the replacement for Jammer, he's the same same type (big minutes) of prop, so a solid professional might be all we get as well, Chris Hill at Leigh has been muted, not the best, but you cant have stars everywhere and you did pretty good without any real world class props last year!

That said with Graham, Eastmond and probably Pryce and Flannery (signed as a SOO player) gone we should have a fair few quid to throw around so maybe the rumours of a bigger name arnt so outrageous
