I'm at work, so can't listen to the audio, but there's no mention in the text of a union move.

He needs to get away from the wing, i reckon. He's not got the extreme speed or strength that a winger needs, but he has skills with the ball that just don't get used when your on the end of the last pass.

Get his confidence back under kicks and then see if he he can get a gig at an NL club at full back, perhaps?

He pretty well rules out a move to another Super League club (which is quite brave considering he can't get a game at Saints) but that would still leave a move to Union as a possiblity. I would suggest that he is more suited to Union given that he can kick, and as a Union winger would do very little else.

He needs to put some weight on, that would mean losing a bit of the beautiful jawline but thats his only chance of becoming a decent centre ala Goulding at Wigan. He isn't quick enough to justify being so small and he is simply going to get bullied until he does.



I hope he gets his head down and makes a career for himself, he has some good attributes.

He certainly does. I for one always felt like he showed a good attitude (depsite people saying he was more bothered about his hair) with a good appetite for work and a lot of energy, especially in defence.



His body doesn't seem to want to pile on the pounds, esle he'd be bigger by now. He's not short and has a decent frame, so he'll probably get bigger as he gets older and end up a decent size, but that won't solve his problem now.



He needs to get into a position where he can use his skills and guile to add to his game. I think full back's the only position he's going to be able to do that without his size compromising him. If he moves to centre, he's going to have to defend against 2nd rows, which is not somthing I'd fancy seeing.

I feel sorry for Jamie. He is going through the same thing pretty much all young players go through. Sad that some Saints fans need to concentrate on destroying him as a person rather than back him.

Are you lot on here who are continually suggesting him bulking up not Purple Aki in disguise. There seems to be a lot of male jealousy on here clouding the views of whether he has or has not got what is required. Many of those who think he hasn't got what it takes seem to couple their criticism with either his looks or his lifestyle. Would we prefer it if he were out on the lash every night gambling and indulging in all other of lifes vices? Give the lad a bleeding chance.
