I think some of the current under 16's who have just stepped up to the under 18's are going to turn out to be quality players in a few years. The majority played for England u16s and some played for Portico u16s who recently won the national cup. They are: Brad Ashurst (prop), Chris Webster (prop), James Tilley (back row), Connor Dwyer (back row), Greg Wilde (full back), Danny Yates (scrum half), Lewis Foster (hooker), Dom Speakman (hooker, stand off or loose), Alex Clare (back row), Mark Percival (centre)

On the academy front look out for Lewis Gailbraith who will be playing U16s and then 18s next year. He plays for England and he's there best player at that age. Centre he is and one mean git

I don't no any under 16s...the only starlets I no off are the under 18s forster, makinson, ashe...but everybody knows that

Same as the big score we sufferd in the u20's, we just never turned up. Interesting to see Saints fielded 5 U16 players while Wigan only played 1 (i think) ?

Of the team which toured Australia last october i think Carl Forster, Scott Hale, Tommy Makinson and Josh Jones are the top four for the future.

Adam Barber, Marcus Baines and Danny Jones played well in all the games.

Saints only played one u16s played against Wigan in full back Greg Wilde. The team was Wilde, James Hill, Josh Greaves, Adam Barber, Tom Tunstall, Danny Wakefield, Ben Karalius, Carl Forster, Marcus Baines, Joe Bate, Danny Jones, Joe Greenwood, Jordan Case. Subs, Liam Fiswick, Jordan Hand, Jordan O'Neill, Ant Walker.



I think all of that team (bar Greg) went on tour to Australia, so a pretty experienced team at u18s level

Shocking result then! Danny Yates is twice the player Ben Karalius is IMO.
