That drove me mad too. We need to be more ruthless

The drop goal was the right idea but not on 2nd tackle! It should have been on 5th or we should have pinned them down at their end.



Instead we actually gave them extra time to score, we put them up our end of the field and they scored. Surley playing the clock down with few extra tackles and then dropping a goal or putting little kick and pinning them down there.

We may have given them more time to score but we also gave ourselves time to defend. That our defence is so shoddy is a concern. Kicking a meaningful drop goal when in the right position to do so is not a concern.

Maybe I expect more and have different ideas but Imo we gifted them the field position and time to score.

Gifting the field position was more to due with attitude at the kick off. If the drop goal went over and we then drove them back down field, no one would mention it.



As for SKY. It's like Wigan central up there. Eddie will go with whatever someone tells him and everyone else telling him is from Wigan.



Terrible balance of opinion.

It was truly awful to listen to. Can't think of a single sky pundit that I find entertaining.

I'm not too keen on O'Connor and McDermutt. Think they're a bit boring. The others I don't mind. Carney though is ace.



The other week (might have been us at Salford) they were looking at whether it was a penalty try. Cummings interpretation being it wasn't a 100% certainty he would have scored given the players was in mid air when gaining control of the ball (same interpretation would happen in the NFL). Anyway, Stevo chipped in to support Cummings after the others disagreed;

Cas did get some bum calls, but it swings and roundabouts during the season. It was nothing that affected the result. Sky aren't helped by the donut that is Stuart Cummins, who'd defend murder by a referee, and Eddie just listens to every word he says.

I'm just greatful we didn't get the usual beating we get from you every season.

Did you not feel we were there for the taking?

Not really as I have seen what Saints can do ( to us ) far too often after a defeat. If we had done you over I'd still be in shock.

No
