It as Tickle

Yep. Just read that on the Saints website. I was assuming it would be Longy, since he loved doing that for us. But his went wide. As did ours.



Looks like we've lost James Roby.

Roby doesn't go off unless he's in some pain, he's a very strong and brave lad. Lets hope it isn't too bad.



Hopefully were getting our injuries out the way now.

why whats up with roby?

Just reading the report on the website, and this was the quote:



'James Roby was felled on 53 minutes by a ferocious tackle that saw him leave the field – an injury that may have been caused by an illegal leading forearm.'

Tickle kicked it!

In all honesty I thought we would struggle tonight, a win would have been a bonus!

Decent effort comparing our pack to there pack! We lacked size in the back row.

well we didnt lack size in the back row in the first half though did we?

He was knocked unconscious according to the Sky guys on the red button show.



Also, Mick Potter is apparently happy with our effort in the second half and apparently this game should teach our young players how to close a game down.



Well, I'm glad someone was happy at losing a 20 point lead!



It seems Shaun Magennis got his debut.

for those who didn't attend, you missed an absolute cracker this evening. Best game of rugby I've been to for a few years (and I honestly would be saying the same had we ultimately drawn or lost)



it was expansive, end to end and full of big hits and good kicks...exactly what you want to see from rugby league.



O'Meley's run at Roby changed the game, as it fired the whole team and the crowd up. And Hull simply got on a run and had so many sets that Saints tired.



yes Saints probably could have wrapped the game up at 26-6, but you can't discredit how good Long's kicking game was, he pegged Saints back time after time, which ultimately helped tire them out and allowed Hull to stage a comeback.

Roby wasn't "felled by a ferocious tackle" at all, seeing as though O'Meley had the ball, running forwards with it, and Roby went in for the tackle and got knocked sparko.
