TP pulled up with a leg injury so perhaps it was late on today. It would have been less wasteful of a bench space and more productive generally to shift Meli into the centre and put Makinson on the wing. We could have had a field day with him on the edge given the amount of space Warrington gave us.

It stopped being about Royce per se before the match against Leeds. I lost respect for some of our senior players and I'm finding it difficult to support them.

Do the results and manner of play now not suggest that some of those senior players were on to something ? Its a fine line to tread between percentage football and the completion rate scenario that we have seen in recent years to the offloading flair attack we have seen in recent games and it seems that line wasnt one that Royce could tread.



There were inherent problems with Royce this year and that has been covered to death,even if the senoir players had of stepped up we lacked a gameplan,the halves to carry it out and a coherent team effort and that particular buck has to stop at the door of the coach.
