We didn't have the luxury of having the best young players in the world like Wigan to bring in or the three storm players from nrl.
I think we did pretty well with a old, over the hill, to slow, 2nd rate team thaw not played home at all this year  |

Yes Saints have coped very well and looking at the bigger picture the emergence of Lomax and Gaskell is a big bonus and might not have happened had Pryce not been injured and Eastmond not been such a big wuss.
There was an interesting stat on the Wigan board a while ago showing that Wigan have suffered more injuries than Saints including first choice players Fielden and Roberts out all season and Gleeson having to be released for personal reasons. Not complaining though because injuries do occur and it is a squad game. |

Fair enough , I think it also matters where you get your injuries though.
As for Wigan, Gleeson getting the boot was a club call, Roberts as far as I know has been playing in the reserves and Fielden has been our Perry. |
