| Now we're on to the next round, does anyone really think HKR can beat Wigan?
If they played with the determination they had against FC, I can almost see it, but surely that performance was enhanced by the derby factor, wasn't it?
Wigan must be favourites, but if the HKR pack can stand up to Wigan's then perhaps the superior tactical kicking of Murrell and Dobson can swing it.

| Wigan are a spent force, They got to the top by early season fitness. Now all the teams still in this are just as fit, and Wigan are being shown up to be what they are - a decent top six team that are now getting tired. ANy of the teams still in can easily beat Wigan if they put their minds to it.

I hope HKR can manage it, they have the players to challenge Wigan but I can see the goons taking the win. We can only hope that even if they lose KR really stick it to Wigan and make em work really really hard for the win.

I've got two scenarios in my mind.
1.HKR bring their "A game" (as they put it) and frustrate wigan with a tough game and good kicking, edging them out by about 8 points in a low scoring affair.
2.Wigan blow them away in a backlash and stick 40 on them.

Don't think they have it in them in an intense game against a decent pack.
A motivated Hull KR will give Wigan a heck of a game I reckon.

The likes of Vella, Newton, Clinton and Galea give them some serious knarl up front to take on the pies, but they are a team that can let their flood gates open every so often.

I think Huddersfield have got a better chance of victory tomorrow against Warrington than Hull KR have tonight. Hull KR were great last week, but the intensity of that derby was huge and I'm not sure they can go again to that level. Plus Wigan will be hugely determined after last week's disappointment. It's not often they lose twice on the bounce. I suppose we'll soon see. Either way, I expect both Wigan and Warrington to progress.

Haven't lost two in a row this year so far, and hoping that trend will continue tonight. Still anxious though.

Although Wigan and Leeds wasn't a derby game it was just as intense and as tiring. The goons home crowd will be baying for penalties all night. Just hope the ref can stop Tomkins clamping. Wigan have lost more at home than away this season. If HKR play their cards right and keep cool heads they have an excellent chance of turning the goons over.

I agree. Add to this their loss of Deacon, so the reshuffling has had to happen with maybe a not very fit Amos at fullback, and Wigan are not the certs they looked like prior to the Leeds game (which I have to say was a very good game to watch).

According to the Wigan coach they have been playing for the last few weeks with between 7 - 10 first team players missing although they are getting some back now. I can't think of a game were they have had that many 1st teamers missing. In fact some of their first teamers have been playing in the under 20's for weeks.
