We've got a reporter from Hull slamming the idea in Scotland, the overall figure was down 7000 on last years weekend, but 10000 down on cardiff weekend; yet the RFL claim it a success?

I went last year and it was "ok" at best. And wouldnt waste my money this time round. Derbys in Cardiff i thought were great.

We enjoyed it. We met up with a few nice people, had some good food, and a few beers. It's good to meet up with fans from other clubs and talk about "the game" in general.

The beer is expensive inside the stadium, but you can get a pass out and go into the Murrayfied Ice rink bar which is outside the gates on the North West corner, less than a minute from the Stadium.

Tickets were cheap especially if you are a season ticket holder.



As Div says above, it was cold, but that could happen anywhere, and maybe the last weekend in May would be a better option, although that is normally the play off football weekend.



What I find really funny is that the people who complain most are the ones that didn't attend.

What a weird question. We don't need rugby league. It exists because we want to spend our leisure time doing something enjoyable, that's players and fans. Exactly the same reason the magic weekend exists.

Derby games, first weekend of the season, at Cardiff and keep all the regular fixtures? Three games on Sunday, last one kicking off at 4pm.



I also think the World Club Challenge should be at the end of the season when both clubs still have the players that won their respective leagues. So, if I think that, then I must be mad so please ignore this post about the Magic Weekend.

Saints got to play HKR and got 2 easy points so what are you complaining about?

That was posted before the game and everyone expected Hull KR to play better than that, as we often struggle when playing Hull KR, they are arguably our bogey team. On paper, Hull KR is a much tougher prospect than playing Salford.

Or why not play one game at home, then the next away, then home, then away and so on and the team who wins the league are the English champions and not adding all these gimmics to fleece more money of the fans....

I think we should wait to anounce the games till we see the league table the week before MM. Then 1st v 2nd and 3rd v 4th etc. all the way down.



That way you are playing for two points and the possiblity of moving up the league. It'll make the games more interesting and add a bit of excitment.

I know let's penalise 'em for improving.

Or, lets punish them for mediocre last season?



This gives them an easy 2 points this season, compared to other top teams, due to them playing rubbish [ilast[/i season, that doesn't make sense.
