Foster was a Wigan fan when he was younger, although I don't know what that has to do with Wlikin being a robins(HKR) fan.
His parents had a pub just outside Hull, I went in a couple of times when I was over there on business. |

But Foster WAS a Wigan fan when he was younger. He has said so himself, publically. I'm sure Makinson was a Wigan fan too (and probably still is), since he's a Wigan lad. Any other claims though will be rubbish.
As for Wilkin's new deal, I think this is great news. He was outstanding in 2011 and had a great Four Nations campaign. He's also a very good ambassador for the club and for the sport. I hope he goes on to have the best four years of his career.
I wonder if the RL media will make as big a fuss of Wilkin signing up for life as they did over Sinfield last season? I doubt it like but it will be interesting to see if they do. |

He didn't say that. No doubt Wilkin was on the radar of Union clubs and possibly NRL clubs as he is a quality player. All Robbo was saying is that it would now put off possible clubs coming in to sign him. |

Wilkin just has far more loyalty than either of the Tomkins brothers. One has already gone and the other needed a bumper increased contract and a get out clause in order to sign.
