I was thinking of starting a campaign to get Leeds/Bradford airport renamed. You've got John Lennon over in liverpool and Doncaster/Sheffield Robin Hood (trips off the tongue) but what have we got? We need a person that unfies the two cities. Suggestions?

IIRC, back in the days of yore it was owned one third each by Leeds council, Bradford council and the now defunct WRCC (West Riding county council). I'm not 100% on this, but I think when the WRCC was abolished in the seventies, Leeds took on/was given its share. I think much of the area covered by the old council went into Leeds so maybe the ownership just followed the people?



Anyway, the CAIA gets my vote too. Just hope her make up artist doesn't get the contract to do the make over.
