This is where the mess started in my opinion. no investment to keep us in super league and added with the mismanagement of Ferres and Hunter Paul we only have ourselves to blame. Interesting article from Ross today that green is in Ibiza and hasn't told the players or rohan anything. I hope the Rumours on twitter about him liquidating the club due to lack of funds are not true.

| If ever there was an opportunity for a Koukash take over then now is the time. There's certainly a chance that Marwan's looking to walk away from Salford presumably due to the lack of fan support. His wife Mandy was also rumoured recently to still be interested in taking over. I can't say that I'm the biggest fan of the Doctor but if the other options are part time or bust then I'm in.
There's also the possibility that he may walk away from the game altogether after his run ins with the RFL of late.

| My gut feeling is that MG is not done and won't walk away. My hope is that he's already worked through the different scenarios and has the plan for the outcome of Sunday's capitulation.
The amount of work put into the u19's and development of youth makes me think the plan was always longer term.
Imagine him walking away and leaving the club in the hands of Koukash?
I hope he stays, I think I'd rather have a successful Championship team then a rebounding, unpredictable bottom 4 SL team.

| To be fair to Marc Green, a few weeks ago we were dead and buried as far as the top four was concerned so it certainly wasn't out of the blue. It must have already been discussed.

This. I know people are angry, but Green comes across as a genuine professional, and I've not seen that since the late, great Peter Deakin.

| Until Green gets back off his jollies and tells everybody what the state of affairs is then we don't know what the club are faced with. The only things I'm hearing are doom and gloom scenarios which doesn't do anybody any good especially the staff and players at the club.

This damning article in the Yorkshire Post just about sums up the whole sorry state of affairs:
goo.gl/ShPVd7
I personally feel more gutted now than I did after the 1M pound game last year.
I most probably will be physically sick if I read another inane comment from a player or official that says anything like: "This club deserves to be in Super League".
We deserve to be where we are, period.

| If its any consolation you probably helped another Championship club out by them making the top 4 as Fev face yet another winding up order.

| How can anyone blame Marc Green FFS! No investment!!??
In 2014 i remember going to the first game at Odsal. The place was a skeleton, no barriers, a pile of dirt on the car park. The Bulls were dead. Green stated from the off he wasn't a multi-millionaire who could bankroll the club (there aren't many about unfortunately)
In his time he has transformed the business. Bringing more sponsors than ever before. The club HAS had plenty of money to spend. Unfortunately the people in charge to spend that money have utterly urinated it up against a wall.
Superb structures and staff put in place in the academies. At the beginning of 2015 we have a decent squad that maybe with one or 2 late quality additions would have been fine. Unfortunately Ferres and Lowes lost the plot signing random players with no actual plan. Lowes's stubbornness in refusing to play many players at all or sending them out on loan because of one bad game. 2016 was even worse with the signings of Campbell, Walker, and Mathers. No actual plan for any of these.
How MANY £100,000's have we wasted on players playing no more than 5 games or not at all. We've a 46 man squad FFS. Who do you think paid for it? The business Green created. Marc Green wasn't the problem. It's HOW we spent the money, not lack of it.

I did hear that they were having difficulties. Hopefully the top 4 finish will be enough to see them through.

Nobody's blaming Green? The recruitment was a shambles and as such we are where we are and unfortunately the problem is on Mr Greens lap, regardless of what he's done so far.
