So he is effectively saying he would quit if Wakey aren't in SL.

And yet he says he'd do the same thing as us in the same situation (appeal).



And to suggest our only negative to going into admin is losing Sammut and scruton really is laughable. I expect we'll get no points back, and PR stunts like this will only help in that unfortunately (which is obviously his well played aim for his club). However, I would love to see the reactions on here if we got all 6 points back.

To his way of thinking, it would make perfect sense. Then, if Wakey got 6 points back on appeal, logically the chairmen of all the other SL clubs would resign on principle, and Wakey would be top, albeit in a SL of one.

If the appeal is all above board and conducted in accordance with RFL rules and say we get 2 points back then he has nothing to cry about.

You look after your team and we will look after ours springs to mind.

He knows that if we get our points back, or some of them at least, then it's a dogfight between Wakefield and Bradford to survive. They've done their best Wakefield, with the letter they wrote to the RFL, and signing our two best players, to ensure we get relegated. But if we get our points back then Mr Carter knows his team will struggle. Can't wait till June 1st.

Running scared (though I don't know why. We'd struggle to stay up without a points deduction) is Carter. Reading between the lines it wouldn't surprise me if Wakefield aren't far off an insolvency event. He wants to stop signing players and start living within his means. Doesn't matter if your debts aren't big if your income is all. The ground only holds 5000 and they can't even fill that. The fact he's had to put up his own house as capital for finance prove they aren't cutting their cloth and he hasn't a pot to in for underwriting losses. He'll reap what he sows.

I see we now have Richie Mathers in the papers moaning about the possibility of us getting some points back
