Quote paulwalker71="paulwalker71"Same question as I posted on the parallel thread for the Fev game
Can someone describe the ground, the various stands, where to sit or stand etc?
Also when you look on Google Maps, it looks like the ground is at the end of a cul-de-sac, literally 'one way in, one way out'. So where is the best place to park?'"
I can only give you my own experiences - but they are limited to attendances of 300-500 - 800 - I think if 2000 turn up - the place will melt and they will love us!
There us a mosque in the vicinity too so parking is not easy - you are correct - its a cul-de-sac at the top of a steep hill with Fox's Biscuits at the bottom, follow the smell of biscuits and you wont be far from the ground.
I usually park at the bottom of the hill near Fox's and walk up - but if there is nothing available - at worse, with a fair walk there is Tesco car park and a couple of small car parks to the back of the high street.
I have sat and stood all over the ground dependent upon weather - always found it a friendly and informal place to visit.
I guess we might see where the band sets up and follow them? Its nowhere near like Leigh or Featherstone in terms of where "away fans" must go.
