6 figure sum is a lot of money for an 18 year old though.

I don’t think we are in a position to turn down a six figure fee for any player in our squad. Especially one who is out of contract at end of 2020 and could go for nothing

Wilson is very highly regarded by our youth set up. It’s never easy to see promising academy players getting poached to play elsewhere but six figures, everybody has a price.

Agree with others, always sad when you see highly rated players you've developed move on. But £100k (if correct) we can't turn down. He could leave for nothing in a year and there's no guarantee he'll make itin the big time . Though i do feel he will make it as he is very highly rated. But we'll continue to develop and bring others through after him.
