Naughton looked very good indeed. His try from halfway was the highlight.



I also thought our hooker was very useful as were the number 10 and the two second rowers.



Hull seemed much bigger physically but couldn't get in our half much due to mistakes and ill discipline. However whenever they did they seemed to score. The Bulls had less size but were better disciplined and made fewer errors.

Well done for attending to all those who did, I guess the crowd was double what it usually is.

nice to know but dont remember him playing for northern thought he spent just about all his career at castleford

I remember him, his chant was awesome:

Not the most elegant, but easy to remember.

Tony played over 100 games for Northern between 1989-90 and 1993-4. I believe that he went on to have a couple of seasons with Dewsbury after that.

I think he went back to Cas' first before that.

I hope so, and will look forward to it. Doubt you'd recognise me now - all that going to the gym every day has gone a bit downhill in recent years (as many on here will gleefully testify), although I've started up in earnest again now, doubtless far too late!
