| The perfect team would be a well knowledged Australian from the NRL, in the Maguire/Brown mould with Beaver and Medley working with him.

| It's most unlikely that any senior coach from the NRL would be at all interested, perhaps an assistant might be tempted to enhance his reputation.
Its also doubtfull that Steve Menzies could be considered as an assistant as he has not so far taken and coaching course qualifications and has not indicated that he will. To do so in the UK would probably mean that he needs another year's player contract with the Bulls which is not yet certain. Also there might be difficulty for him to retain his UK work permit as an inexperienced coach rather than a player.
Consideration should be given to what the primary role of the new coach will be and the attributes needed to fill that role in relation to the club's current and future plans for recruitement.
Of the coaches that may be available in England I can see no further than the two Brians, and McD being to me the obvious candidate. His record at Quins is excellect in respect of his resources and with young talent.

You reckon we have the remotest chance of attracting a #1? Without a sugar daddy to pay the cost?

| I expect we will see St Hilaire also go at the end of the year. I just hope we hang onto Evans, he seems to be doing a good job so far.

Not with crowds of 8234 against a side who brought a reasonable away support. I was hopeful we would break the 10k mark today given our good form and the fact it was Hull KR in town.

| From that list I would quite like Bellamy but I think thats unrealistic, an NRL assistant capable of the same impact Brown and Mcguire have had, is an option, but whoever it is needs to have continueing the excellent junior development as his number 1 and 2 priorities.
So without knowing enough about current NRL assistants, from that list I'll go with the ex bulls legend who is big on junior development and is quite good at winning at Wigan! (I said last week McDermott was not as bad a call as some had been saying, and thankfully he backed me up this weekend.)

| I feel "the beaver factor" is going to play a huge part in the coaching set up next year.
Assistant - Beaver (maybe playing assistant)
Head Coach - Nrl coach or assistant coach after a persuading conversation from Menzies.
Menzies takes over after 2/3 years....
