Actually yes you can, but that's beside the point. I didn't actually say that anyway. I said they need to come out and say something regardless of true or not.

If it is the case that there's no actual financial issues and players were paid on time, I don't get why a simple tweet quoting Danny Lockwood to say "Only part about Ferres true" wouldn't go out. Very very easily cleared up and denied, then intelligent people can stop discussing it and just leave the pessimistic to disbelieve them.

If it transpires that all the rumours are in fact true and the club is indeed on the brink or yet another administration then I have to admit that I'd be very impressed with Mr. Green's big brass ones after releasing last weeks statement, especially in the manner that it was delivered.
