Amazing how him and Herbert were warming up together before the wire game, and TBH neither of them looked like they could be bothered !!!

I said this on the Widnes board, he could come back and bite us on our backsides next year. After half the season, most fans said he deserved a new contract, then he got played out of position and it all fell apart. We shall see whther this is a mistake, or a good move.

He'll do okay on the wing for you. Don't play him in the centres and dont expect a superstar then you should be happy enough with the signing.

Very inconsistent and he seems to struggle to maintain concentration. Can catch a ball that you would expect most players to drop, but then will simply drop the ball from a straight forward pass. Same with his kicking, will knock one over from the touchline and then hit the post 5 m from the right of the sticks. Too many errors, too many miss tackles this year.



I've more chance of joining the Chippendales than Ah Van making next years dream team.

How many quota players are Widnes allowed? Is it the same as everybody else or like Crusaders with many more allowed?

As far as I know we are allowed the same as everyone else.



Jury's out on Ah Van for me. From what I've seen he has the ingredients to be decent but I also have to take notice ofwhat you fellas say on here - could he be a scapegoat for your indifferent form? after all, every team has one or two when things aren't going well.



Fook me, we have half a dozen scapegoats this season and we're unbeaten in the last 9

Definately not a scapegoat, the whole team has been absolute gash but Ah Van by far has been the worst, and his laziness and lack of concentration is second to none !!!
