Grant didn't pull on a Broncos jersey in the season leading up to the RLWC as he was injured, so goodness knows how he got a Wales squad place. Good luck to him.

A player Kear obviously knows/trusts who obviously really wanted to come (sounds like he was back in pre-season for London and under contract).



I thought he looked really useful whenever he played against us for Dewsbury. Quick, good finisher and plenty of experience at Championship level.



He must be an improvement on Macani. Hope his injury problems are behind him now.



If we sign Alex Brown as well I think we should be happy. Him and Grant are players that know the coach, want to play for him and will make the likes of Ryan/Oakes/Smith/Gibson really work for their places in the side. Also a bit more age and depth added to our young squad.

Not kidding. Thankfully most of them have been sent packing. This one is from Wales though so he at least has a better pedigree than one of them there soft Southern b*ggers like Oscar Thomas or Iliess Macani.

Don't forget the fastest backrower in Super League, as well.

I continue to try to forget him.

Incidentally another massively disappointing and under-performing ex London & Bradford winger has just had news announced. Omari Caro signed for Skolars.

That's at least one hat trick against us guaranteed then...

I find it annoying that while London have been sending us dross in recent times, we've sent them Jay Pitts and Adrian Purtell, both great players at Championship level.

Not so sure on Purtell, I always thought he was past it before he left us. Don't think he played all that much too last season due to injury.



Pitts though was an awful loss for us. Think I saw that he won an award for the Broncos too. Not sure if it was player of the year, forward of the year, players' players etc. but he won something.

We have lads coming through that will be at least as good as Pitts but we have missed his workrate even if he lacked a bit in size.
