That's the bit that strikes me as strange. Assuming they were planning takeover for a month before it was announced surely first item on agenda would be a business plan. And yet six weeks later they still haven't submitted it to RFL. Did guy who took over wakefield from glover have to submit a business plan? Presumably he did and got it cleared before it was even announced he was taking over. |

Perhaps on an operational side, but remember compared to the 2013 where it appears nearly £1m had to be injected by the owners, the new team also have to factor in the repayments to OK as well.
I notice the usual hyenas prowling round the thread - but sniping at other clubs situations doesn't help anyone. To be successful as a game we need a competitive, funded league - not 4 or 5 elite clubs with some others to make up the numbers. So having a situation where several clubs have questions marks over their funding isn't anything to laugh about - it weakens the whole game, [iand[/i the teams they support. |
