Would seem logical. presume bar 9 is the old name and its going to be renamed to trevor foster bar. Think they need to do a bit more than just open bar for a few hours and expect people to start using it. Maybe having events like the already suggested poker nights, meet the players,curry nights, move the heritage nights across from the top house (sorry top house but club comes first) etc. Still a step in right direction as anything that gets site being used more can only help with finances.

Not wishing to run before we can walk but, it would be nice to combine this with a continental type coffee bar as well as a normal bar, I know my missus would be more inclined to go if coffee or even a half decent glass of wine were available.

Think it might need a bit more than just being open as a bar in order to get people in. Indian food etc would be an attraction for me. Like the idea of watching Sky rugby matches there with Indian food and beer.

the clubs routinely video all matches for training purposes both senior and junior. So how how about having one night a week where they show the preceeding weekends matches. Would be particularly attractive for untelevised away games i'd imagine.

Thats exactly what I mean. There has to be some other reason to visit, otherwise its just a pub, and I can walk to one a lot nearer than Odsal, (where I would have to drive to, with the usual drink driving restrictions).
