You actually think that did us any favours? We were begging to be relegated rather than getting hammered and losing week after week. You can see what its like with your fanbase getting less and less week after week. Imagine that going on for 4 seasons!! Relegation was the best thing that ever happened to us back then as every Giants fan will tell you. Dont try kid yourselves that the RFL did us any favours in keeping us in SL. We had to build again after getting promotion and the fanbase is gradually getting better.

Well said. And if I remember correctly didn't one of our best players move to Bradford, Brandon Costin, when we were relegated? Although he came back when we were promoted again. Eorl stayed with us and I think you'll find it's more likely to be the local players who will stay and play to get their hometown club back up. How many of your current squad are from Bradford?

Of the regular first teamers, Danny Addy, Tom Olbison, James Donaldson and Adam O'Brien have come through our academy system. The relegated SL clubs will have parachute payments for the first time ever.



Will SL loan players be allowed in the mini-league?



What about if they've been loaned since the start of the season?

Assuming that the SL clubs won't have to fit championship salary cap restrictions just for the minileague, logically the championship clubs will be allowed up to the SL cap for that 7 weeks (8 clubs, play each other once).



How will that work?



Where will they get the players from?

I'm sure the RFL will look at it....
