We could do with them coming over here and helping some of our clubs progress.

It all sounds very impressive and Toulouse, in a a much larger city could pose a real threat if they can make a go of SL.

you say that like there isn't already 4 very well run clubs.

I think they deserve credit, particularly for building a strong brand, they are a lot more consistent in their kit choices than other clubs for example and that leads to better awareness of the 'brand'

And who would they be? Bradford?

Branding is something British Super League clubs have yet to discover.....

They still face significant challenges. Most notably developing French players and increasing crowds.

They're obviously a well run club but I'm not sure what puts them ahead of 3 or 4 other clubs in terms of being a model club.

I make allowance that you're probably about 12, but you seem to have this naive notion that "a club" is the same people running the same thing the same way. Which is, of course, bollox.



So as for your first question, we don't know if it's Bradford, as the current regime has only been in place 2 minutes. They could, therefore, you'd have to admit, be great, average or useless. Only time will tell.



As for your second point, if you were a bit older you would know that it was in fact Bradford that invented SL branding, back in the day, or more accurately their marketing guru, the late, great Peter Deakin did. Northern became the Bradford Bulls, and created Bullmania. Those days are long gone, but then so are the days that were before those days, etc. However that boom period shows how totally wrong you are. Maybe you could google it or something.

What he created was marvellous, and it's a crying shame that we remember it because it was such a one-off.

Nah, they both nicked it off us (in)famous Huddersfield Barracudas at Arena '84!
