Clearly it was a stupid dangerous tackle and he will almost certainly get a game or two.



My question is why that tackle goes on report when there is a video referee there? Before Roby had dealt with the incident we had seen three or four replays and saw a clear dangerous tackle. Why couldn't the VR make that judgement?

I'd be happy for that kind of tackle to be a red card, but there have been similar and worse tackles like that this season that haven't seen reds or bans, so by this seasons standards was right not to be sent off.



The immediate aftermath of that tackle amused me a bit. To see a load of skinny English lads square up to Poore and Aiton. I think they made a sensible choice in not taking it any further!

In think he will get two games possibly more, it. Was dangerous and he didn't drop him but slam him down. That being the case (him getting a ban) then by definition it would be a sending off worthy offence.



What I'm asking is why put it on report and have it watched on video when we have a vr and we have already watched it 3 times within a minute so why not just have the VR review it?

There have been so many worse challenges this season that haven’t even warranted a penalty let alone a sending off.

Maybe it's just another crazy rule that the video referee can't have a say on?



Similar to him not being able to call a forward pass.....like the one that was given to Ellis when he knocked on....that was eventually called as a try....



I can understand if they are marginal.....or flat passes.....but if you asked 10,000 RL fans if that pass was forward, then surely all 10,000 would say it was......so why can't a video referee?
