| Quote Sal Paradise="Sal Paradise"Its a game of rugby - maybe some perspective is required here?'"
I know what you are saying and if we lose on Saturday then of course life goes on
However... I’ve done a few things in my life that I am proud of both at work and sporting/socially and I am lucky to have great family and friends etc and they give me great satisfaction, but from a sense of pure happiness I just think that win would feel so good
There are more important things in life than Rugby League but for me it is a great distraction from the everyday grind and after 27 years I want it to be a successful one too

| I have been watching RL since 1976 with the CC final being my first game when Saints beat Widnes.
If we can do it tomorrow this will probably mean as much as any of Saints wins in finals,in fact come to think of it, it would be better to be honest.

| My first memory of following England / GB was the Ashes Down Under in 1988 (when I was 7) getting up at silly o'clock to watch the games with my old man (great days).
My biggest highs to date are:
1994 Test at Wembely - Jonathan Davies try.
1997 Test at Old Trafford - Andy Farrells try.
Our win in the 1st test in Huddersfield in 2001, when Paul Sculthorpe has 1 of his finest hours.
Our win in Sydney in 2006
I think my biggest low is the shellacking in 2002 when we played Australia for a mid season test and lost 64 - 10.
Or possibly the 3rd Ashes Test at Elland Road in 1994 when the entire crowd almost walked out at half time.
I dare to dream (even pray) of a victory tomorrow but the Aussies will raise their game to another level.
What would it mean to me.... the biggest sporting result of my life and probably 1 of the biggest results in the sports history, espcially at a time when English RL needs such a massive boost in terms of PR in a country dominanted by Football and RU.
Come on England!!

| It would mean absolutely everything to me as it will change the face of RL in this country forever. I don't mean getting a fair crack from the media etc. but for the fact that we will have a precedent to draw on, the RL World Cup will become so much bigger and the Aussies will, for a short period, not have this 41-year hold over us.
Personally, I would rate it right up there with my RL experiences. No club game can generate the same passion for me.

| On a sporting level it will be up there with me seeing United win the European Cup in 99. I hope they do it, i will probably cry if they do, but one part of me wishes doing it over an ashes test would be better

Wasn't really old enough to remember the 1998 CC final (I'm only 19!), getting out of NL2 in 2006 was a good day, getting to the Championship playoff final this season was a good day (showed how far we had come in just 11 short seasons), watching Wednesday do the double over the unclean was a good day and I really enjoyed watching England win the Ashes down under last winter at the expense of a normal sleeping pattern.
Saturday would at least match and probably better some of those if we were to win.

I think if we win, his followers will double, every single one of waiting to watch him squirm.

| Being a saints fan, there have been numerous highs over the last 15 years or so - challenge cups, grand finals, and especially world club championships.
But the best rugby league feeling I have ever had was being in Sydney in 2006 to see GB stuff the Aussies on their own middin. What a match, what a night.
Beating the Aussies in a final for the first time in 40 odd years would be incredible. I'm working, so can't make it, but if we do win, those who do go will have a memory that will live with them for the rest of their lives.

| not really a great moment in my life in general but as a sporting high it would certainly be up there with :
Seeing Huddersfield RLFC walk out in 2 challenge cup finals ( i was there in the dark days of the 80's so we tend to saviour it more than the newer fans)
Watching Sheffield Wednesday lift the league cup in 1991 ( after beating Man Utd at wembley, still the last team outside the top division to win a major trophy)
Fartown winning the 1992 3rd division ( the sleeping giant was finally arising)
Fartown winning the 1997 premiership final
GB doing the Aussies in Melbourne (1992) and at Huddersfield (2001)
Sheff Weds beating the pigs at Wembley in the fa cup semi in 1993

| Sporting wise it'd be up there. The 2004 GF was amazing as was 99 CC final. LUFC beating that lot at OT last year. 2005 Ashes. The 5-1.
England winning the 4N would be as good as any of those I think.
