Why do we have to wait till Tuesday for the draw when the games are less then 2 weeks away,why couldnt it been done on BBBC Manc/Leeds after the games had finished or on 5live at 6pm today it makes sense but that and the RFL dont go together.

It's rather odd that the past three draws have all been on at different times and different radio stations. Surely now that Sky have got some cup rights, it should be shown on Boots 'n All With an online stream for those who don't have Sky. I'm assuming it being on 5 Live's Breakfast Show means George Riley will be conducting it, but the lack of consitency is amateurish.

It's not that odd at all, different radio stations will have free spots at different times. National radio, like national TV, aren't really interested in the early rounds so finding a media outlet for a draw no-one cares about is fairly difficult. The opportunity to have it on prime time on a national BBC radio station trumps any kind of b[ii[/itching or whining about having to wait a couple days or the timing of it from typically miserable rugby league fans. I'm also not sure how restricting it to the few thousand who watch Boots N All rather than the millions who listen to Radio 5 Live will help in any way.
