| That was a big try as well. At 10-2 if Fiji score first in the second half it really is game on, now they have to score 3 to overturn the deficit which will be very difficult in these conditions

| Fiji are playing very well.
Australia are just too good at finishing when close to the line, but apart from that the Fijians are keeping them honest.
The England Fiji game will be a good contest if Fiji can keep playing to this standard.

| australia have just done the basics well, waited for the opportunities on fiji's line, and then takem them.
You could count the number of incomplete sets in their own half, and penalties on one hand from australia, they've barely given fiji a sniff.
I think fiji will struggle to score a try in the game and they'll do well to keep australia below 40 as they've laid the groundwork and they'll cut loose.

| How on earth has Thurston picked up the MoM award from this? Must be for his goal kicking because the rest of his game was poor

| Australia have had bigger wins against top 3 sides.
Amazing effort from Groome and Noilea for Fiji. They didn't look out of place against the Kangaroos, and these guys are basically 3rd grade weekend footballer who have had a few months of intensive training.
Two big games for Fiji now.
I expect they will have a closer scoreline against England, then a good game in the quarters that they may be able to win to make top 4 again.

| Australia vs. Fiji games
It was 66-0 to Australia in 1995, 66-8 in 2000 and 52-0 in 2008
34-2 tonight. Nothing from this game has changed my opinion that this is one of the poorest Australian squads I have seen

Nothing to do with Fiji getting better then?
