Great so that confirms it, we have signed a player good enough for SL.

| Quote Dreamer="Dreamer"Not "tetchy", just bored of people who skim (rather than actually read) posts, get the wrong end of the stick, then reply to something that was not there.
Right got that.
Look I was in no way being denigrating of your train of thought as, previously explained.
But it was a bit of an ham fisted statement the manner you injected about him having to face some "BIG hits", making it seem that you were implying these would be something that he hasn't experienced previously.
I enjoyed the main thrust of your post but honestly thought that that portion was misguided.
Again, no offence intended.
I simply said "if he does not come fully fit he might get a shock". Fairly honest statement and easy to understand.
I wasn't even suggesting he would do that but I could point to many NRL "names" who have come here either unfit, uninterested or both and found life hard.
The whole thrust of my post was to show how good he could be for your club if he wants to, I even used the example of Joe Grima for us.
If you think that's me being flippant or having a dig then you must live in a strange world

Just to emphasise it AGAIN and in case you miss it, I HOPE HE DOES WELL.'"

It doesn't prove that at all.
I could imagine that one of the lower clubs in SL, one of those potentially ripe for relegation --- here I am thinking of Wakefield, and perhaps even Widnes -- might sign him. But the elite clubs at the top of the ladder, like St Helens, Wigan, Warrington and Catalans, would not take on a 30 to 40 minute player at that high wage.

You are both "hamfisted" and "misguided" to put your reply inside the "quote" box
I've read through the statement you made above, and to be honest it does not make any sense. I've also read through my original post again, and it's perfectly ok. I therefore suggest the mistake is with your understanding of the English language

| Quote JEAN CAPDOUZE="JEAN CAPDOUZE"You are apparently new to Super League, or else suffering from amnesia.
Last season Catalans finished up 7th in the regular season table, but then in the knockout games of the playoffs defeated Leeds and Huddersfield away to make the final four. They only went down in the penultimate game to competition winners St Helens. And that resounding success was before the arrival of superstars Todd Carney and Villiame Sione Tonga, both of whom have played State of Origin and for Australia. Carney and Tonga will cement Catalans status as a top four side in 2015, as they compete for silverware.
A team as polished and star studded as Catalans Dragons in 2015 could not afford to acquire or retain a 30 minute a game prop.'"

Rather like Graham Taylor, I would just love it if Catalans didn't make the Top 8 and had to slum it with the likes of Leigh in the Middle 8. Still, at least they'd only have to stoop to playing against FFMM for a mere 30 minutes.
