No it isn't, its 11000.

So am i now mate,

i do think that is the capacity for the current licence it has, but the ground will actually hold over 12,000, i have started a thread on our forum to try and clear it up.

I did work on the sports village and was told it was only going to hold 10000?

If the stadium website confirms 11000 then id take it as truth?

Don't honestly know now mate, but i am pretty sure i have seen it wrote down somewhere as 12,500, the official website may not have been updated though.

Why? There’s still 623 empty seats? Even if there were 10377 there, in my opinion 10377 was probably the amount of tickets sold/complementary given out it doesn't mean everyone turned up?

Some sign posting wouldnt have gone amiss and i take it the short cut was walking along the field that goes under the by-pass.

I turned up 90 mins before kick off hoping (but not expecting) to get on the official FREE car park but missed out on a spot by a few minutes. Headed back onto the dual carriageway and parked up on Leigh Miners car park which is less than a quarter of a mile to the stadium. Was very surprised to park up free of charge (in fact I would have gladly shelled out a few quid, Leigh Miners are a good club). Got away after the game pretty easy enough, past Leigh Asda, Westleigh, Hindley Green to avoid any queues.



Me and my two young lads thoroughly enjoyed the day out yesterday.

We ended up on the one that is going to be used for Morrisons...got there just after 12 and was out and back on east lancs in 10 mins so that was good.



We enjoyed going to a new ground but just thought more could have been done and not knowing the area well....(not that bit anyway)...just thought more could have been done for the speccys and the kids especially.....Not a moan,just constructive critisism
