Wow, what terrible news. Although I never had the pleasure to talk to him personally I always kept an eye out for his posts as he was an intelligent and passionate individual. The world is a worse place for having lost him.



May he rest in peace.

Even knowing it is okay to open up and even knowing there are people who will willingly listen and want to help you doesn't make it easy to actually go through with talking about the troubles of the mind. Yed and I spoke about that on here once. Even the thought of actually speaking about your thoughts can be troubling to someone that doesn't come naturally to and actually adds to the problem, sometimes it is just easier to be the strong silent type. This has really hit home with me though - actually opening up is essential. Another time and place to discuss that I suppose, hope I haven't been disrespectful with what I posted here with it being the type of thread it is for Yed.



Really gutted to hear this though, such a shame for the lad and his closest people

i have never met yed but we have had plenty of light hearted banter over the years,so much so that his comments were in my signature for over 5 years,as a mark of respect i have deleted it

Still hasn't sunk in yet. I've never met him, but quite often I noted his posts and responded over the years following the same thread. I feel already that there is someone/something missing on this forum. RIP Wire Yed.

Really sad news this. Being a Wire fan from Golborne (I believe) he had a healthy banter with the majority of the posters on the Wigan forum. His contributions on this site will be missed. RIP Wire Yed (Steve).

Never met the guy but always enjoyed reading his posts on RLFANS and very often agreed with a lot of what he said. Seemed like a good bloke and had a lot of respect for him. Desperately sad news.



Hope Wire put on a good show for him today, RIP fella.
