Right decision IMO.

Fair decision based only on his good record. It was out of character.

Sure they'll be an over reaction from some because he's called Kevin Sinfield.



I shouldn't wonder because it's irrelevant BUT if the CC cup was in 2 weeks would he still have copped a 2 match ban.

Bad faith in the justice system on my part and would say No!

Nowt against Leeds or Sinfield - but that decision stinks.



Obviously nothing to do with the CC game in 3 weeks

However out of character etc... there was intent and an aggressive act.



Homophobic abuse or spear tackle (Hardaker and Ferres) = 5 game ban (plus sending off for Ferres)

Deliberate head butt (Sinfield) = 2 game ban and sending off



Get the logic - do ya - do ya???



RFL maintains their usual standard of transparency, fairness and never ducks a difficult decision for the sake of the wider game then - NOT!!!

Calm down - Have you even seen the headbutt? If we are issuing 5 matches ban for that then we may as well pack up now.



What would you subsequently give a player if they broke Luke Dorns nose and knocked him out with a headbutt?

Given the grade of the offense. Then 2 matches was probably the only outcome.



He pled guilty has a good record. If 3 was the maximum and they gave him 3 what would be the point of pleading guilty and having a good record. May as well draw the process out.



If people want to argue anything the only thing worth arguing is the original grading.



As for those comparing it to a spear tackle. Get real a spear tackle can kill you.



As for the homophobic abuse to the ref. Again the game demands high punishments for any abuse of the ref and I'm fine with that.



If it was homophobic abuse of a player you would probably get a lot less, again rightly so in my humble opinion. I want player on player to be less than player on ref.



If he had headbutted a ref, he would have been looking at a season out.

You think it's bad on here, the intelligentsia on Facebook are having a collective breakdown tonight.

It's a rough sport, Dorn wasn't bothered in the interview at the end of the game, in fact if you'd asked him if Sinfield should have been banned he'd have probably said no.



Personally sending off sufficient for me.

Slightly different, but Tevita Leo- Latu got banned for 6 matches for directing a racist word toward Kevin Penny, which only Penny heard, who reported it to the touch judge. There does seem to be an air of who you and who you play for when it comes to disciplinary issues, but that can be said for most sports (Alan Shearer kicking Neil Lennon in the head etc) and life in general.

Well done to the Wigan fans who have posted on here, they generally show a pragmatic and realistic viewpoint.



Some of the bitterness and resentment from the smaller Yorkshire club supporters has been borderline hysteria.
