| No - they will step down to NL 1 and not be replaced. 13 teams next year and a total revision of the fixture list.

| Nothing to worry about - after recent events, I'm sure that the Big Nige will ride in on his white low loader to save the day.

I would say Sale are still there but they are at the bottom of the table i think so could be in the Championship next season.

| To be frank, the idea that Salford would remotely get the crowds the wanted in season one were laughable - maybe if they had won the cup or charged to the top of the league, neither of which were going to happen either.
Someone at Salford got their business plan very wrong, simple as that.

Which is what a lot of Salford fans had been saying for years whist watching the club pursue a "build it and they will come" business plan. The club would point out the visibility of the stadium from the motorway, the fans would point out how Walsall FC are hardly giants in their game from a similar prominent position, and the reply would be "well, that's different".

| the new stadium was needed but was forced upon by the RFL and not owning the stadium we had only attendance and corporate as are only income, wheres the willows we had a far more healthy income. with the added investment in players in the final season which was a complete failure with plenty of them on very good money.
this whole franchise is killing are game with rules that you need to be in a nice stadium forcing clubs like wakey, cas, hull kr, to improve or move stadiums, saints own there stadium and appear to have done a decent job in there first year

I don't think franchising is killing the game at all. I think the initial franchise rules were wrong and it should have been about building a solid business foundation and youth development rather than making sure your stadium looks nice on TV.
Personally I think franchising is the way forward and we need to give it a lot more time. As I have previously said on other threads, its all or nothing.
If we were to go with franchising then it should be a closed shop unless certain rules are broken or a team pulls out. There should be none of this re-apply every 3 years nonsense. All clubs below SL either stay as they are or become feeder clubs for SL teams like they do in Australia.
If we don't want a closed shop then we need to bring back P&R and get rid of the criteria for being an SL team. I believe that if we choose the P&R route then the game will completely fall apart and most teams will go back to being semi-pro within the next 10-15 years.

| That's probably true
Salford didnt need a new ground because of Franchising. They needed a new ground because the Willows was a hovel.

I would be interested to know if the club you support was not in S.L & HKR was F.C’s feeder club, would you be of the same opinion?

The problem lies in your first paragraph. If the Willows was earning you so much money, why wasn't any of it invested back into the ground rather than questionable rugby players?
The RFL didn't force you to move, your neglect of your original ground forced you to move.
