| Quote Saddened!="Saddened!"Just which fool decided to put this massaging of Wigan's already gigantic ego onto my TV? After a couple of weeks of being entertained on a week night by the entertainment and vibrancy of the Euros, I am now subjected to it being polluted with this rubbish? Do they really need Phil Clarke on the show to tell us about three hundred things that Wigan do better than any other club? He's getting like Damo, soon he'll start the show with 101 reasons why Wigan are incredible.
Utterly boring. Why? Just why? The concept of MNRL started reasonably well with a couple of decent games, this could ruin it. The game has less intensity than the Exiles game. But hey, it's Rugby League so I'll just enjoy it. Hopefully Wigan clock off so much that Widnes are somehow able to stay within 40.'"
and if they'd showed the reverse fixture, it'd have been a masterstroke by Sky

| To be fair Saddened, Clarke doesnt need a Wigan game on sky to gush all over em, he manages every week regardless.
I think Widnes v Cas will be a cracker next week.

| Sky have been quite good at picking games recently they've put us against Wire on the tele box this Friday Although we don't do too badly in front of the cameras. Like said in previous posts if it was the reverse fixture on tonight then it would of been happy day's, you just never know.

| Not so much Wigan v Widnes but this is the problem with Sky having to fill quotas in a 14 team league. I.E reduced quality. They HAVE to visit every ground in Super League twice a season, that takes up half the picks every season - most of which in fairness are normally seen off by the middle of May. However they've only been to Widnes once , hence the visit next week for a nothing match!

Nonsense, they've already visited Wigan several times, so didn't need to fill any quota. It was just a really poor choice of game and a really poor game.

| No offence to Widnes but they were never going to get close to a Wigan team with Tomkins and O Loughlin in it.
I understand that Sky have to go to every ground a certain amount of times a year but yesterday was always going to be a tough watch for any supporter. I expected it to be one way traffic and it was.
Bilko is right about the reduced quality of the league with so many teams and Saddened come on they will always want to show the better team and the more recognised teams as it will get the viewers in. However much you and i may dislike them they are a big draw for viewers.

And err...which must see fixture missed out on television this week? There were only two close games the whole round, one was on television and the other was another "nothing game".

The nothing games can still be entertaining at least, albeit with nothing at stake. Widnes Cas next week is a nothing game but its a game the neutral can get into, widnes underdogs, home team, sky commentary praying for a widnes win to take them off the bottom etc, will be a little more entertaining then last nights joke of a selected game. Bradford Wakey or even Wire v Hull (close for an hour) would've been better games.
