Why does Eddie insist on proclaiming that every time a decision goes in a teams favour, said team "won't be arguing with that?!" When, in the history of ever, did a team argue with a referees decision that advantages them?



The combination of stock, recycled phrases, the dullard O'Connor, the pointless Cummins and the general overcrowding of the commentary box makes the whole experience painful and distracting - it's like sitting in a pub next to a table full of smart know-it-alls who won't shut up.

Could do with a Chris Kamara type character to liven things up. "Has he been red carded? I thought they were bringing a sub on, Jeff".

It was refreshing watching the World Club Challenge without the sky commentary.

Was it? Somewhat dull and monotone I thought. But everything Aussie when it comes to RL is the best.

Significantly better than the commentary Eddie Hemmings, Terry O’Connor and Phil Clarke provide.

At least they actually commentate on the game as a commentator should do. Eddie and his crew seem to spend 90% of their time talking about anything but the game in front of them.

Haven't watched it yet though I have to say this news comes as little surprise.
