I really don't see how Westwood can escape. The context shows it was clearly retaliatory and impacted on the head with a closed fist.

Agreed.
You shouldn't receive a lesser ban for admitting your guilt early on. If the misdemeanor is worthy of a ban, then you should get the full ban. |
