In the past decade (2000-2009) only one player who has come through the academy and made their debut and gone on to become a full international (non of those silly England reserve games) and thats Kirk Yeaman, and iirc hes only played twice. We are the kings of turning youngsters with tons of potential into average SL and NL players.
Btw, thats less than Harlequins and also no better than any current SL club who have spent time in the National Leagues in this period of time

Is this a reflection on:
A) the schools comp in Hull
B) the HFC scouting system
C) the HFC jnr development system
D) the poor coaching at reserve grade
E) poor coaching when these 20 year old come into the 1st team squad?
Genuinely interested as in the 80's HFC & HKR produced a number of Internationals, what's changed? If anything they have more moeny now than back then so what's changed?
