| Hall and Reed linked up well in 2011 on the right, it would be good to see the partnership back to get together on the left where both play for their clubs.

| Watkins as a more natural centre than Cudjoe, Cudjoe has improved out of sight since the last time he played centre for England down under, especially defensively (although his performance against Wire in the cup wasn't great). He's still not that great at creating space for his winger, his natural instinct is to run himself, he is improving but Watkins in comparison has more strings to his bow than Cudjoe. Cudjoe is a more solid defender at the moment but I'd say Watkins is a better defender now than Cudjoe was 3 years ago.
Watkins is the most natural centre England has produced in years. His combination, of speed, footwork, ability to carry the ball in both hands and catch and pass the ball at high speed his superb, he's not the finished article but in 3 years if he stays fit he will have surpassed Cudjoe, or any other centr in the country.
Both are the 2 best centres in SL. They should both be lining up fro England in the world cup.

| Re handling errors, I'd need to see how successful Cudjoe was at coping with some of the rubbish passing that Watkins has had to deal with this year before reaching any conclusion.

not been getting much from brough who has laid on 30 try assists, mainly down the opposite side to cudjoe.
this has turned into a cudjoe v watkins thread!
how about both in the England starting 13 for the world cup... best way to go i think.
Reed is the danger to this, but with cudjoe playing all the autumn internationals and showing up well i feel he should be ahead of reed, how has reed gone down under this year?

| Both Cudjoe and Watkins appear to be very talented but as a neutral think they both need to get involved much more from the games I have seen but I think Watkins has more potential to be a game-breaker than Cudjoe and I think he needs a long stretch of games without injury before you see his full potential.
Both probably deserving of an England spot ATM but good to have competition. As for Reed, he's decent (and not half as bad as some have said) but he is hardly going to have any Aussies/Kiwis quaking in their boots and lining up against him. He's pretty solid all round though.

| as an opposition fan, i'm scared when we're lining up against watkins, as he's dangerous and cause us problems.
Cudjoe, i'm not, he's not a strike player at all imo, fulfills a role, very well, but he's not someone you're going to double up on, or use as a spot player in attack.

| Also in regards Watkins v Cudjoe stats... This season Codjoe has been playing in a team going all out to win every game.... Whereas Watkins has been playing in a side sauntering through their league games.
Be interesting to see how both fair in the playoffs.

| The common opinion of Atkins seems to be that he isnt 'brilliant'.... he has spent alot of this season injured. But if we compare his stats lasts season to Cudjoes this season the contrast is a stark one.
I would also swap Atkins for Watkins.... i wouldn't swap him for Cudjoe though. Not a chance.

| Yeah, Huddersfield have been sauntering through the season all year
FWIW I wouldn't swap Atkins for Cudjoe either
Basically Watkins looks flash but his all round game lets him down, especially defence, but he is still at the Leeds favoured attacking side
Atkins benefited from a team in great form all season whose preference was to attack down his side
Cudjoe doesn't catch the eye so much (I guess his MoM performance v Leeds in the cup doesn't count) - probably due to him being on the opposite side to Broughs attack but despite this his stats stack up pretty well
