I ordered mine last thursday and they only came this morning. I was starting to panic abit so looked at the email confirmation and it said if you hadn't recieved them through the post by thursday give them a bell.



If they don't come in the post in the morning i'd get onto them. If you have to pick them up at the game at least you'll know for sure.

tickets have arrived

Two blocks of the top tier in the East stand have now been opened. L36 and L44, this is according to the Super League website, Id expect that to mean that the bottom tier has sold out, or there is just single seats available. Looking good though.

If everything except the top tier sold out, what would the crowd be?

I read it was just shy of 33,000.



Looking at those 2 blocks that have been opened on the upper tier earlier and you couldn't get 4 seats together in one of them. If they open the rest of it and allow people to pay on the gate i'd expect 35-36,000 on.

Not a bad effort I reckon for perhaps the most mullered of international sides in UK sport.



Ridiculously gutted I can't make it

Just a question here don't bite my head off but why would just managing to open top tier be "great" considering we got 39,000 for GB v Aus in 2004 at the same venue?

It's a tough one. We struggled in last years world cup and I think that just put everyone on a downer and when you add in the current climate with alot of peoples money being tight 35,000 won't be a bad effort at all imo.



We'd had a really good run up to the 2004 final aswell even beating the Aussies in the process so expectations were huge. I think this time the expectation level is still pretty low and most people would just take a competative showing.



It also doesn't help that the RFL have done little to no advertising of these games.

Because we've have an additional 5 years of shambolic performances to damage the crowds since then, and money is tighter than it was then.
