| Quote MacBlondie="MacBlondie"Can someone explain this to me, admittedly, I havent read about it properly.
The people who have made the pledge, did they have to pay up front or just like say, "yeah I will buy one". If its the latter, whats to stop them not following up on the pledge?'"
they didnt have to pay to pledge. In theory, they have a legally binding contract - so the Bulls could pursue them through the small claims court if they dont pay up. I doubt that they will bother doing though.

You enter into a legally binding agreement to buy a ticket at a later date (providing at least 10,000 people in total make the pledge, which they now have), however there is nothing stopping you from giving the details of, for example, your mate (as a joke), or someone you dont like (in an attempt at getting the bulls club to hunt them down, for the £60, for the ticket the person doesnt want), or just giving competely fabricated details (in an attempt to pi$$ off the club, and waste their time)... not a well thought out idea imo .

| Ok cheers, I wasnt aware of the legally binding contract. But tbh, if you make the pledge and can get a season ticket for 60 notes, I cant see many not following it through

Really?
If people have put in multiple pledges while ony wanting one ticket or people putting in false pledges will not many. Nor will these people be pursued 'legally'. Some of the people I saw sign up in the Brighouse area seemed to be taking the p***.
It was an astonishing hike in numbers with around 3500 pledging in the last week. It almost defies belief. If it gets more people watching TGG then fair play to the Bulls.

Me admitting on a forum, isnt evidence enough to alow them to force me to follow through with my pledge, they need actual evidence that i was me, and i made sure my IP address was untrackable whilst doing so (i would be doing it now, if there was any chance of this coming back to bitw me in the booty). hth.
Not quite, more like bored, a little drunk, and being immature as I haven't got any friends.'"

So all 265 or so posts you've attempted to hide your IP? Yeh right.
You're more traceable than you seem to be aware of.

I suppose that if the people working in the Bulls office were aged 10 and quite naive, then they might have thought such a name was genuine, and counted it.

Do you sort of get the impression that some people professed pity for our plight when they did not really expect us to succeed, but are now pretty pretty hacked off because we actually did it?

| I'd guess there is an actual figure the Bulls were happy to follow through on the £60 offer for.
In their plans, 7500 may be enough for them to juistify it, so aim for 10,000 to allow for multiple pledges, people whose changing circumstances may prevent them on following through and tools with too much time on their hands.
Either way, well done Bradford for a good inintiative. Hope it works as well as they hoped
