I know we've been linked with Andrew Ryan but i cant see that one coming into fruition? looks like an good solid starting 18 there imo what does everyone else think?

He's only on a years loan from Saints and I doubt we'll try to sign him on a full time contract.

Thought we declined Paleaaesina supposedly said he was too old. :S

I think it's his wages more than anything, but see the other thread for the rumour. As for him being too old, he's only 28.

For me i think props dont hit there peak until now

28-35 then retirement around 33-35 i presume

i'd of snapped him up

Another Hooker maybe?



It does look a much stronger squad to me. Without getting carried away if injuries are not too cruel, I could see the team challenging for a top 7-8 finish and hopefully having a decent cup run.

Think we are near enough there but would like to see a decent hooker come in, to be honest haven't got a clue who but do think we need someone at the hooker role.

I think Kane Bentley and Leo-Latu will be our 2 hookers, I rate both of them but there not a massive step up from what weve got. I think wel have a stronger team next year, if you think-

Kane Bentley will be a great signing for you. Has had limited chances behind Casey McGuire but has always given 100% & will only improve with regular game time

It worries me that 3 fine young home grown talents struggle to make the 17, would hate to think that we will lose any them as they are the future of the club and for me in Adamson a future captain. Though do have to agree that the squad looks a lot stronger than previous super league seasons, think with the addition of the hooker/hookers TBA and hopefully a prop and a back we stand a very good chance of holding our own next season.

You could argue that they're being kept out by 3 other young home grown talents in Matty Smith, Ryan Boyle and Adam Sidlow, although I reckon some people might not put Matty Smith into that bracket...
