Quote fROM THE club facebook sITE :- The RFL are (rightly) tightening up on colour clashes after a couple of recent embarrassments - this is why a good number of clubs are late this year - without going into too much detail, the concern now is with 'contrast' between kits, rather than colours clashing. This has proved to be complex for the shirt manufacturers. We cannot put the preorders out until we have a sample to photograph - this is not a particularly interesting story, but as it seems to be a hot topic we will explain exactly where we are at. Normally our shirts are manufactured abroad and take several months to manufacture and deliver (and even longer than usual at the moment because of labour issued in their country) - a sample was produced by this factory and signed off, however because of the delays caused by the shirts being rejected several times the club has decided to switch to a UK manufacturer who can deliver in a fraction of the time. This has massively increased the cost to the club of each shirt but the price to supporters will remain the same. Less profit for the club, but earlier availability. The UK supplier is delivering the sample to us next week (latest info we have) and preorders will hopefully be available next week, assuming the sample is correct. Delivery into us will then be weeks rather than months. Any questions, fire away!'"
I'm told we are staying with Kooga ,
If I'm right and Kooga normally contract out to a Chinese supplier for replica's , normal delivery via sea container would take 14-16 weeks, labour issues are notorious with Chinese factories now , clothing factories are finding it harder to hold on to staff as standard of living increases and higher paid work is available elsewhere, add to that increase in demand at this time + Chinese New Year shut down. all places shut down for at least two weeks. if shirts were still coming from China late Feb 2012 would be earliest. No surprise it's a UK manufacturer now.
