Fantastic win for 20's tonight 41-14 putting them 1st in the league due to Leeds only making a draw v Widnes & Warrington not playing until tomorrow.

Play offs are a certainty, hope they do well

Good story in the mist of all the doom & gloom, well done to the players & coaching staff.

I v got to say i have enjoyed watching the twenties more this season than the first team, they play some fantastic rugby and the team spirit is amazing, well done to each and all and to the coaches.

It's those kids that deserve the support at the moment. Be great to see everybody turn up for the 20s... get behind them... sing like it's an important first team game... and then leave when the first team come out.





Joking aside... If the 20s keep going as they do... We should all make the effort to get behind them and turn up in numbers... after all... these kids are wearing the Salford shirt like it means something... which is what we all crave to see.

[iIt's been great this season watching our young players improve week in week out.



I would say that 4 /5 of them will be in the frst team next season.



They are not ready at this stage but next season they will be and hopefully we will be able to keep hold of them this time around..



The days of Salford City Reds becoming a feeder club for others to take advantage of has got to stop!

Warrington beat Wigan 32-20 so go above Salford on points difference. Do the academy play offs still use the old top 6 system? This would set up a potential 1st vs 2nd play off game at Wilderspool if league positions stay the same.

Great win for the 20's against Huddersfield to take them into 2nd position in the Valvoline Cup Table.

Even more impressive when you think that they did it without the likes of Sneyd, Veivers, Neal, Owen, Morris, A Walne and Towers who have all been starring recently for the 20's this season!

We seem have some decent 18's coming through as well who are now being required to play in the 20's, well done to the youth coaches.

Perhaps the kick off times should be changed

20's game this week v Wigan is Thursday at Orrell KO 7pm if anyone can get there to support the guys, would be much appreciated.

It changed last season to mirror the Super League top 8 system. I presume it'll be the same this season.

I'll be there (supporting Wigan

) Stuart Fielden is expecting to make his long awaited return to RL.



But, congratulations to Salford you've done brilliantly this season. I do think the play offs will be harder though as the dual reg/loan players come back to their teams.
