Following Salford home and away is in my blood, but I'm seriously starting to question why I bother. Watching Salford perform like they have done for god knows how many years makes me angry and for what? People to turn round and question my support....(even though I don't miss games) I've got some good mates at the rugby and I enjoy getting the earliest train to away games and missing the last train home. The days/nights out are honestly now the only thing that keeps me going, the rugby is a massive inconvenience now. It shouldn't be like that, the rugby should be the bit we look forward to well sadly not anymore.

Is it just me that didn't see any abuse being dished out on Sunday? I must've been stood in the 'wrong' place.

For those of you who know me and my fellow followers (salmon king, sheddy, other lads who arent on ST) will know that we have been going to games just about as long as anyone else on this forum and have sponsored matches and players during most if not every season.



Back in the day it wasn't difficult to finish work and go the match and have a few beers afterwards, however since starting families etc it grows increasingly difficult to persuade your better half that you are actually going to watch them get trounced every week and that it IS worth the £50 that it costs every week (even more on the away games). Its now trying to persuade the other half that its not just a pi$$ up - its based around going to the game win or lose despite the

We could of just lost to London Skolars in Championship 1 and people would be on here saying 'stop having ago/the club know what they're doing/it's nobodies fault' etc

We could of just beaten Warrington in the SL GF and people would be on here saying 'the club are clueless/sack the coach/get Wilky out' etc.

Lets not do anything and be happy with how things are going then should we? Lets face it there is a lot to grumble about fans have had to bite their top lip for years and years, now me along with many others are sick of it. If your happy then thats fair enough, but I'm certainly not!

I think there is a little confusion going on here.



Everyone likes to look back at a game and show their knowledge in a discussion about what went wrong. Most posters on here want the mindless slagging off to cease. DJ may not be performing but calling him names isn't going to help, but saying he isn't taking on the line and commiting the defender is constructive.



At games my heart sinks when the songs about the ref start, yes we may feel that the 50/50 calls aren't going our way but how does it help abusing the ref?



I'd rather songs were sung supporting our lads than singing y warrington, it just sounds like us supporting them.



I've been around a long time and perhaps lbeing ucky enough to have seen the great side in 7helps. I know how frustrated fans get and I have only been to a couple of away games in the last couple of years as the product is so poor.
